Meet Sam

Sam's Story

Sam and I have been together over 25 years, and what a wonderful journey it has been.

In our time together, Sam and I have shared countless hours of camping and adventures, trail riding and friendships. Along the way he has impacted all he has met, horse person or not, by seeming to just announce his presence in their lives. Since I have known him, he has carried many people physically and emotionally through the gamete of life’s emotions. Wins and losses, fears and triumphs, joy and pain, Sam has always stood ready with a kind of wisdom for all who need it, that everything is going to be alright. His majestic stance and his mane ever ready for tears or just to share the inexplicable comfort of being surrounded by the smell of a horse.

It is my honor to name Sam’s Place Horse Therapy after my precious friend and companion. This is for you Bubba.
